Please read the letter below to the GHPOA board regarding their letter to the membership dated 1/10/14. We 9 members of the association are calling for a special meeting of the association. To the Board,
We the undersigned members call for a Special Meeting of the General Membership of the Glen Haven Property Owners Association according to the provision in our association bylaws Article II Sec. 5. Please respond by following the procedure outlined in the same section, and by responding to the recipients of this email.
A decision to act on the matter discussed in the above mentioned letter deserves a meeting of the members. Would you kindly forward this email to Helena Sharrar and David Jewell as I don't have their email addresses.
Items to Discuss:
1. How will a proposed expenditure of up to (or exceeding) $30,000.00 affect the future financial condition of our community and association?
2. Are less expensive alternatives to this proposed lawsuit available? Have any been tried?
3. Determine the correct procedure to make a final decision and determine the information that the Board is required to report to the members
If no other place can be found, Bill and I are volunteering our home as a meeting place. We will contact some other venues to see if a meeting room is available nearby.
